Trim Models of the 2024 Porsche 911: A Legacy Continues
Carrera, Cabriolet, Targa
There are three core body styles of the Porsche 911. The Carrera model is the classic 911 hardtop, with sleek lines and an iconic design that hearkens back to the beginning of the model while keeping with the times and setting the pace for future iterations. The Cabriolet, of course, is the classic convertible, turning down the whole roof.
The Targa model is a unique hybrid of the two. Introduced in 1965, the Targa adds an integrated roll bar behind the driver’s seat, offering protection and stability during rollovers while allowing the roof and rear window to be removed individually, offering four unique configurations. Keeping with the added safety, all Targa offerings in the 2024 model year also come with all-wheel drive for added stability and control.
911, T, 4
The base model of the 911 offers plenty of horsepower even at the entry price point, with 379 horsepower, 331 lb-ft of torque, and a zero-to-sixty time of 4 seconds flat. The 4 models add in an all-wheel-drive powertrain, distributing power to each wheel as needed to help navigate difficult road or track conditions. The T edition, available only in the Carrera hardtop body, adds unique styling while deleting the rear seat to minimize weight.
S, GTS, GT3
The S, GTS, and GT3 tiers of the 911 are the touring-oriented designs. The S level boosts horsepower up to 443 with a top speed of 190 mph, while the GTS models cut zero-to-sixty time down as low as 3.1 seconds thanks to a gutsy 420 lb-ft of torque on tap. The S and GTS are available with or without the all-wheel drive powertrain, though if you want the Targa body style, the all-wheel-drive will come along for the ride.
Turbo
There’s simply nothing like the feeling of a twin-turbocharged, 3.7-liter engine that’s revving to run, and the Turbo and Turbo S editions deliver enough horsepower to raise the pulse of any driving enthusiast. The Turbo S tops out the class at a massive 640 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, hurtling drivers from zero to sixty in just 2.6 seconds and offering a top speed over 200 miles per hour.
With so many great options to choose from, there’s a 911 for every driver, and every driver deserves a 911. The power has to be experienced to be believed. Schedule your test drive today at Porsche Beachwood in Beachwood, OH.
