The 2025 model boasts cleverly refreshed exteriors across its all-electric range. The base and 4S models sport new air inlets and matrix LED headlights in the front, making them look more assertive on the street. Top-tier versions (Turbo, Turbo S, Turbo GT, and Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package) go even further with a striking vertical inlet. The sharp, angled panel and refined wheel design enhance aerodynamics to improve the vehicle's energy efficiency. The striking LED HD matrix headlights design provides superior illumination for nighttime driving.
Electric Power
At the heart of the 2025 Taycan lies a significantly enhanced powertrain that features a new rear-axle motor for increased output and two battery choices: Standard (89 kWh) and Enhanced Plus (105 kWh). The base model generates 402 horsepower (Standard) or 429 horsepower (Enhanced Plus). The 4S kicks it up a notch with 536 horsepower (Standard) or 590 horsepower (Enhanced Plus). The high-performance variants are powerhouses that crank out up to 1,019 horsepower. A two-motor setup with a two-speed rear transmission ensures top-notch performance.
Performance
The 2025 Porsche Taycan pushes the boundaries of electric performance. The brakes generate 30% more power when you slow down. The Turbo S accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 2.4 seconds. The rear-wheel drive Performance Plus model can travel 421 miles on a single charge. All-wheel-drive models come with Active Ride suspension so that the car handles better on rough roads. Even the basic sedan is fast, going from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and driving up to 365 miles.
Interior
The premium materials in the Taycan's interior exude comfort and sophistication, and the Race-Tex cloth and classic Pepita patterns add a sporty look. Choose leather or no-leather seats in Black or Black/Slate Grey. At the heart of this luxury EV is a new digital instrument cluster that works with the latest Driver Experience. It has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in maps, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a new control stalk for the driver help systems. The main control center includes a large, 16.8-inch curved screen that is complemented by a 10.9-inch display in the middle and an 8.4-inch panel on the center console. Back-seat passengers can have their own optional 5.9-inch control panel for more comfort and control.
Safety Features
The 2025 Porsche Taycan puts safety first with its high-tech capabilities. All of the models have blind-spot warnings, air suspension that adapts to the road conditions, and driver attention monitoring features to make driving smoother and safer. The brakes are stronger, thanks to a system that uses the car's motion to charge the battery, and the Taycan can warn you if you're about to crash or leave your lane.
